Description:

In the operation of equipment / equipment related to public interests and or safety; it is necessary to inspect or administer a state agency to ensure that the equipment and technology installations also meet the elements of truth and safety requirements for its users and environment. The large quantity of checks that must be carried out and the high diversity of equipment technology that must be examined, in certain situations causes the state to involve a third party as an arm of the state in the technical inspection. The transfer of authority of the State to a third party requires supervision, to ensure the implementation of that authority is carried out properly In the inspection of technical equipment in the upstream oil and gas company, the inspection authority is delegated to the oil and gas technical inspection service company (PJIT). The need for inspection work is very large and is in a wide area and requires certain and unique skills. The availability of inspection experts is relatively limited and is widespread in many PJITs, while the volume of inspection work is relatively large, raising the risk of fraudulent inspection implementation. Supervision through checking periodic reports (paper documents) submitted by PJIT is quite difficult, due to the thickness of the report documents and the limited administrative examiner staff. The adoption of a real time electronic reporting system will help overcome the difficulties of supervision.
